Abortionist Murdered in a Wichita Lutheran Church

Dr. George Tiller was murdered this past Sunday, May 31st as he was serving communion.  The murderer was a Pro-Life advocate.  Let's try that again... the murderer was a Pro-Life advocate?  I encourage you to read the link posted below to an in-depth article on the case.  All that to say, the murderer was obviously not a Pro-Life advocate in the Christ-following understanding of life.

In each of our consciences we have a moral standard that says, "It is wrong to murder."  (You can find evidence of God as the moral standard giver by reading things he said in Exodus 20 and 1 John 3:15.)  Murder is wrong no matter the methods.  What John Brown did was wrong, and he should be punished.

Life is a precious gift from God.  God himself said that he made us in his image.  We are precious to him.  Therefore every life is valuable to him.

If you follow the life of Jesus in the new testament, it's obvious that he has a special place in his heart for children.  In the book of Psalms (139) he says that he knit each person together in their mother's womb.  As the creator, he has a dramatic and passionate love for his creation.  We should mimic his love by loving life.

As I write this, my wife is 21 weeks pregnant.  The baby inside of her is kicking, sleeping, and sucking his thumb.  He can hear and day by day he is already learning to recognize the sound if his mother's voice.  I already love this baby, and I can't even hold him yet!

To end this baby's life would be murder.  He currently lives.  What right do I have to take his life away?

If you are considering abortion for whatever reason, I beg you to reconsider.  Learn more about the child inside of you and follow the moral conscience that God as created you with.  If you cannot care for the Child then approach a local adoption agency or visit www.adoption.com to begin the process of adoption.

If you have been part of an abortion in the past, visit the link on the left about "knowing God Personally," to discover how God feels toward unjust acts called sin.  Make sure you keep reading to learn about forgiveness as well.

Yesterday's the past, tomorrow's the future, but today is a gift.  That's why it's called The Present
